PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Primary School Clubs

30-minute morning or lunchtime clubs are available for primary school children to learn French in a fun and friendly learning environment through interactive activities, songs and storytelling. The focus is primarily on developing speaking and listening skills, the written word being introduced gradually through simple reading and writing activities.

Do you feel your staff and pupils could benefit from the experience of a French specialist? I can plan and deliver high quality French lessons or follow a scheme of work already in place in your school ensuring that all the requirements of the National Curriculum are met and that pupils' progress is monitored and recorded. Time for French Planning, Preparation and Assessment lessons give children the opportunity to learn with a native speaker, to develop a deeper understanding of the French language whilst exploring the culture and traditions of the Francophone countries.

Themed Days and Workshops

Would your pupils like to learn about Bastille Day? Explore popular stories like la chenille qui fait des trous? Or organise a special event around traditions and festivals in the French-speaking world?

I can help by delivering creative, inspiring and fun themed half or full days as well as one-off workshops with the focus and learning objectives tailor made to suit your school programme and fit in with topics your pupils are exploring.
